Our curriculum includes Quran Memorization & Recitation (Hifz and Tajweed), Islamic Studies (Aqeedah, Fiqh, Seerah, and Hadith), and Character Development & Leadership. We also engage students in community service projects.
Enrollment involves four simple steps: (1) Submit the Admission Form with required documents, (2) Attend a family interview, (3) Receive confirmation and pay fees, and (4) Attend the orientation session. Visit our Admissions page for full details.
Tuition is $550 per student per year. Sibling discounts and financial assistance are available. Please see the Admissions page or contact the school office for current fee details.
Yes! NWIS believes no child should be turned away due to financial circumstances. We offer fee waivers and financial assistance on a confidential basis. Families can apply using the Fee Waiver Application Form available in our Forms section or from the school office.
Students are expected to dress modestly and neatly. Hijab is encouraged for girls. Clothing should be appropriate for an Islamic learning environment - no inappropriate images or slogans. Please see our Policies page for full dress code guidelines.
NWIS does not provide lunch or snacks. Students should bring their own nut-free, halal snack or lunch for the break period. On special occasions and events, food may be provided by the school or parent volunteers.
Regular attendance is essential. Parents must notify the school before 9:00 AM on Saturday if their child will be absent. Excessive unexcused absences may result in a meeting with administration. Please see the Policies page for details.
We welcome and greatly appreciate parent and community volunteers! Opportunities include event planning, fundraising, and more. Complete the Volunteer Registration Form to get started - we'd love to have you on the team!
Student progress is communicated through report cards, parent-teacher conferences held twice a year. We encourage parents to reach out to teachers at any time with questions about their child's development.
