Noah Foundation for Learning
Mission, Faith & Community Impact
The Noah Foundation for Learning is dedicated to ensuring that every Muslim child has access
to meaningful, highquality Islamic education. Rooted in the belief that faith, heritage, and
language are essential to a child’s identity, the Foundation works to make Islamic learning
accessible, affordable, and grounded in community.
Our mission is inspired by the Qur’anic verse that commands us to seek knowledge as a
pathway to spiritual growth. Allah ﷻ says:
“My Lord, increase me in knowledge.”
(Surah Taha 20:114)
Guided by this divine principle, the Foundation strives to open the doors of Islamic education to
every child-regardless of financial circumstance-and to nurture a generation that is confident in
its faith, connected to its heritage, and prepared to contribute positively to Canadian society.
We view Islamic education as a source of grounding, belonging, and spiritual nourishment, and
we are committed to supporting families in raising children who are spiritually anchored and
morally guided.
This mission comes to life through our partnership with NorthWest Islamic School (NWIS), a
vibrant weekend learning community serving more than 300 students from across Calgary.
Every Saturday, children ages aging from 6 to 14 gather to study Qur’an, Islamic Studies, Arabic
language, character development, and leadership. Through this partnership, the Foundation
ensures that no family is ever turned away, strengthening a diverse and growing community
united by a shared commitment to faith, learning, and service.
We are also guided by the Qur’anic reminder that giving in the path of Allah multiplies
goodness within a community:
“Whatever you give in charity, Allah will replace it; and He is the best of providers.”
(Surah Saba 34:39)
Every eligible donation to the Noah Foundation for Learning receives an official tax receipt, as
the Foundation is a registered Canadian charity (CRA Charitable Registration No.
707109096RR0001). Each contribution supports a legacy of knowledge, service, and spiritual
growth-an investment in the hearts and futures of the next generation.
